I hope you enjoy browsing through the website and finding out about life at Wellington and learning more about what Old Wellingtonians around the world are up to. The School entered its first period of lockdown just over a year ago. There was much uncertainty at the time – nationally and internationally – and I am delighted that as I write we are cautiously easing restrictions and there is a sense of cautious optimism in the air.
I could not be prouder of how the Wellington family has responded to the challenges we have faced. Students, parents, staff, Governors, alumni and friends of the School have all shown remarkable resilience, courage and good cheer. I am immensely grateful to Old Wellingtonians for their generous support of the Hardship Fund – it has made a real and very tangible difference to a significant number of families.
Despite the restrictions we have lived under, the Wellington School community has been busy and engaged. There is so much to celebrate and I sincerely hope that we will all be able to enjoy seeing one another in person in the very near future.
