Supporting Wellington School
Like everyone, the School is facing an unprecedented challenge to deal with the effects that COVID-19 presents. Prospective and current parents face uncertainty and financial hardship as the UK government, and other governments around the world, take drastic action to curtail the spread of the virus. We are asking for your support in helping to build a hardship fund that will provide support for children whose family circumstances see them unable to continue to access their Wellington School education.
Now, more than ever, is the time for the worldwide Wellington community to stand together to support the School. It is my goal to raise one million pounds for the Wellington Hardship Fund and it is my intention to use these funds, in a carefully managed way to support applicants who are unable to continue their education due to the virus. To give you a guide a terms fees for a day pupil is £4650 which equates to £358 per week, our aim is not to lose any pupils for the next academic year.
We have already started to receive donations from OW’s Staff and current parents. The school is in a good position. Prior to Covid-19 our recruitment of new families was up by 150%. We are looking for donations to help current pupils weather the storm, and protect the school for future generations. This is an opportunity for the Wellington family of Yesterday to look after the Wellington Family of today.
