Welcome to the Old Wellingtonians' Association
Sheila Rogers
Sheila Rogers (1943-2019)

Sheila sadly passed away, after a short illness at Musgrove Park Hospital on 30th May, with her three children, Jo, Ali and Ben in attendance.

Alan, her most devoted husband and very loving children and eight grandchildren will always remember her deep love, her joy and her smile. These she shared with her students and all staff in all departments, at Wellington School.

Alan, Joanna, Alison and Ben would like to thank all of the Wellington School Community for its support upon the passing of a much-loved wife, mother, and teaching colleague. Her engaging smile and passion for teaching her students and life inspired many people from all quarters of school life. Thank you all for your letters and cards of sympathy and the cards of encouragement you sent to her in her darkest days of need. We, as a family, thank you all who attended Sheila’s funeral service on 14th June and for your generous donations to the Musgrove Leukaemic Group, Somerset. Sheila will continue to smile on us all for her Christian belief, a heart of gold for all of us, and the anchor of our family and the school community that she so loved. The design of the Camargue Cross embeds her love for us all.

Update 30/9/19 A most genuine thank you
Alan, Joanna, Alison and Ben Rogers thank all friends who attended Sheila’s funeral on 30 May 2019 and for their most generous donations to the Musgrove Leukaemic Group Somerset. Alan would also like to take this opportunity to thank all former colleagues and friends for their considerable support during the time of his recent illness. Visitors are always welcome to his home.
